We recently completed this beautiful kitchen renovation for a homeowner in Maryborough, who has spent decades slowly recreating and transforming their home to reflect their own personal style and vision.

A Timeless Kitchen With a Modern Feel

The finished kitchen brings together classic detailing and contemporary functionality, creating a space that feels sophisticated without losing the character of the home.

The cabinetry features a deep charcoal-grey finish with classic shaker-style detailing, giving the kitchen a timeless foundation. Warm brass-toned handles add contrast and bring a subtle sense of warmth to the darker cabinetry.

At the centre of the kitchen is a generous island bench, providing additional preparation space, storage and seating. It also creates a natural gathering point within the room — perfect for everyday family life as well as entertaining.

The light stone-look benchtop works beautifully against the darker cabinetry, while the clean white tiled splashback helps keep the space feeling bright and fresh.

Dark flooring, rich green walls and integrated appliances complete the look, creating a kitchen with plenty of depth and personality.

Designed to Be Enjoyed

What we particularly love about this renovation is that it doesn't feel like a kitchen that has simply been installed. It feels like it belongs in the home.

After decades of carefully shaping the property around their own tastes, the homeowner now has a kitchen that complements the wider character of the house while providing the modern functionality they need.
